What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - RPA Business Analyst position at Career Opportunities?
This is a hybrid role, with the associate required to be in the office 4 days per week. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly growing field of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
As a Business Analyst Intern, you will learn and assist in identifying and analyzing business processes that will be automated using RPA and AI technologies. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT professionals to gather requirements, document processes, and develop automation solutions. Additionally, you will be involved in Level One production support, quality assurance testing and AI projects, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will graduate December 2026 or later with a degree in technology, information systems, business, or a related field. This internship is 40 hours per week during the summer, (8:00am – 4:30pm), and part-time during the school year (approximately 20 hours per week, based on your class schedule and our company’s business hours).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work alongside the RPA Business Analyst in attending meetings with process owners to understand and gather requirements automation requests
- Learn to identify and analyze business processes for RPA and AI suitability
- Document current and future state process flows
- Partner with the technical team to ensure proper understanding and build of documented requirements
- Create test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
- Prepare and conduct QA testing to ensure the quality and functionality of automation solutions
- Provide Level One production support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with automation solutions
- Respond to users in a timely and professional manner
- Create and store project documentation
- Follow department standards, policies, and procedures
- Facilitate effective meetings
- Assist in the design of Power Applications used within automations to aid in the overall business user experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL:
- Currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelors degree in business, insurance, technology, or related field
- Exceptional listening and communication skills
- Keen analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible and work within a team environment
- Highly organized and strong ability to prioritize
- Experience with MS Office
- Lean Six Sigma classes or training a plus
