Compensation: $74,000-$84,000 annual salary, based on experience

About the job:
Provide program management and oversight to programs operated within the Behavioral Health Division. Clinically supervise and manage employees in the outpatient program. Serve as a liaison between the outpatient program and other programs within the Behavioral Health Division and VOA MN/WI. May provide direct clinical services to clients in the assigned program.
Essentials:
- Clinical Supervision of Providers and Interns
- Provide clinical supervision through in-person and/or face-to-face teleconferencing to assigned staff on a regular basis to meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide clinical supervision to all participants of regularly scheduled consultation meetings as required by regulatory agencies.
- Maintain appropriate documentation requirements, review and sign off on all documentation completed by clinical trainees.
- Manage case/referral assignment and assist employees in management of caseload size.
- Provide therapeutic services to individuals and families. Complete all required documentation in a timely manner complying with licensing and agency expectations.
- Provide Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and skills training to individuals and families and act as the DBT Team Lead.
- Administration
- Contribute to and support a positive, team-oriented work environment, which respects and supports cultural responsivity, upholds VOA's values and promotes staff engagement and healthy morale.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and develop staff to achieve established program objectives including providing quality services in a work environment reflecting teamwork and mutual respect.
- Provide performance management of supervisees of supervisees, conduct annual performance reviews, and maintain up to date personnel files.
- Program Planning
- Assist the Associate Division Director and division leaders with program development and implementation.
- Maintain responsibility for the completion and submission of routine reporting requirements per regulatory agency expectations.
- Community Relationships
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the State, the County, community providers, and other external stakeholders in the area of the individual's program and Behavioral Health.
- Assure program participant privacy is maintained by being knowledgeable and following HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
- Work as many hours as needed to complete the job.
- Some regularly scheduled onsite-in-person attendance expected.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in one of the Behavioral Sciences, including social work, psychology, clinical counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
- Currently licensed as a Mental Health Professional with the MN Board of Social Work as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
- Ability to be listed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional with the MN Health Care Programs (MHCP).
- Ability to be credentialed by MHCP and other third-party payers.
- Approved by MN Board of Social Work and MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy to provide clinical supervision of clinical trainees towards licensure or eligibility to become approved.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of service delivery.
- PREFERRED to have DBT Training and willingness to be DBT Team Leader or become trained in DBT.
