What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Survey Crew Chief position at Career Pathway LLC?
Job description:
- This position will work with and under the direction of the Survey Group Manager to complete a wide variety of survey and staking services for our clients in the areas of residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal development.
- The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in the operation of current survey equipment, including but not limited to robotic total stations, data collectors, and GPS. Depending on workload and prior experience, additional job tasks could include coordination of survey crews and CAD staff as well as legal description writing, boundary and construction staking computations, and CAD drawing preparation.
- An Associates / Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or similar field of study and/or requisite experience along the ability to obtain a Michigan Professional Surveyor license within two years is desired but not required.
- The desired candidate shall have at least 5-10 years of related experience and be able to independently manage projects with little oversight.
- The ideal candidate will be compensated with a highly competitive wage offer.
