Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally, while also leading a team of maintenance technicians. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, and facilities management. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining safety standards and implementing effective maintenance strategies.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage components.
- Utilize voltmeters and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices in industrial maintenance and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial or facilities management environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and utilize testing equipment such as voltmeters.
- Experience with project management principles related to maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with both low voltage and high voltage systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to fabricate components or parts as needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on proactive maintenance strategies.
