What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Attorney position at Career Pathway LLC?
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join the Real Estate Practice Team in our Florida office.
This is a compelling opportunity to become part of a growing office within a highly respected Michigan-based law firm with a national client base. For candidates located outside of Florida, the firm offers financial assistance for relocation to Southwest Florida and support for obtaining admission to the Florida Bar.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of substantial experience in real estate law, with a preference for those who have demonstrated the ability to lead complex transactions. The role requires proficiency in handling commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of real estate-related agreements—such as purchase and sale contracts, leases, and other transactional documents—is essential.
Familiarity with condominium and homeowners’ association matters is also highly desirable.
While a portable book of business is appreciated, it is not required.
We are particularly interested in candidates who exhibit strong business development skills, an entrepreneurial approach, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, keen attention to detail, outstanding communication and client service skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
For those not yet admitted, a demonstrated willingness to obtain Florida licensure is essential.
The firm will provide support for relocation and bar admission expenses.
For immediate consideration, please submit a cover letter, resume, and a list of representative engagements through our secure applicant portal.
