This role is responsible for the performance and supervision of first and third-party claims.
- Implement the directives and objectives of the Hull Claims Manager and U.S. Head of Claims
- Adjust claims and conduct negotiations on behalf of the Company
- Remain informed of all assigned claims through periodic review and diary control
- Maintain current knowledge of technical and legal developments
- Evaluate reported subrogation potential on claims assigned for handling and make recommendations to the Hull Claims Manager concerning pursuit of subrogated recoveries
- Assist in the underwriting and production efforts undertaken in coordination with underwriting managers
- Manage claims and perform the administrative, recordkeeping and appraisal functions
