CRB is looking for an overnight staff for Sunday 10PM-6AM, Monday 10PM-6AM, Tuesday 10PM-6AM, Wednesday 10PM-6AM, Thursday 10PM-6AM in the Patton area.
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they lead fulfilling and independent lives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving and have experience working with diverse populations, including those with dementia, in various settings such as home community care, nursing homes, senior care, and assisted living facilities.
Duties
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each client.
- Assist clients in social activities and community integration to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients by following established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor client progress and report any changes in behavior or health status to appropriate personnel.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or dementia care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration systems and best practices in home community care settings.
- Experience in nursing homes, senior care facilities, or assisted living environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
