Elite hedge fund seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to join its Systems Program Management Office, which establishes, manages, and optimizes the firm’s technical workloads and infrastructure with a strategic and collaborative approach. This dynamic position offers a broad view of our technology practices and the opportunity to help drive the creation and adoption of exciting technical projects in an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging working environment.
Responsibilities:
You’ll work with experienced business and technology leaders and multiple development teams to help create and implement the firm’s technology platforms. You’ll coordinate and advance new technical projects as well as manage timelines and overall project strategy. Your responsibilities might include overseeing a large-scale Linux migration from Red Hat to Ubuntu or the build-out of the firm’s cloud strategy. You’ll liaise frequently with departments outside of Systems to advance large-scale technology projects across the firm. In addition, you’ll establish and promote new program management processes throughout the department.
Qualifications:
-Candidates should have 10 to 15 years of experience in a role involving technical program management for technology infrastructure.
-A degree in computer science or a related technical discipline is preferred but not required, as is familiarity with Linux operating systems and distributed systems.
-Exposure to high-performance computing environments and data centers, experience with command-line interfaces and coding, and knowledge of GPUs and multi-node architecture requirements are also beneficial.
-An excellent collaborator who can effectively work with various stakeholders and navigate large open-ended projects will thrive in this role.

Salary : $230,000 - $275,000
