This position will be responsible for prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests while maintaining the bar. Provide excellent customer service and exude a warm and hospitable nature to owners and guests, engaging everyone in conversation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipe standards and accurately alcohol according to specific measures. Adhere to state and local laws. Check identification of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age. They also manage their alcohol intake to prevent over intoxication and drinking and driving.
- Stock and maintain the bar inventory; maintain a clean and organized work area, washing glasses as needed.
- Responsible for general up selling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six months experience in beverage sales.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English.
- Anticipate customer needs and maintain excellent guest service.
- Ability to make quick judgement when serving guests/owners.
- Must be able to comply with company standards with credit card handling policy.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Servsafe a plus but not required.
