The Shuttle Driver is responsible for our guests and owners experience from arrival through the end of their stay by creating customer delight in every interaction and exceeding expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- The Shuttle Driver is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage in and out of vehicles including but not limited to taxi’s, limos, cars, vans, property shuttles and lifting upwards to 75lbs. This includes storing luggage and carrying luggage up to three flights of stairs to our third-floor villas.
- The Shuttle Driver will operate both transportation shuttles and vans to maintain specific transportation routes throughout the property as well as to designated drop off/pick up locations in the local area, maintaining the safety of our guests and owners at all times. This includes assisting guests in and out of the vehicles.
- Assist our guests and owners with all luggage and provide bell services to the units; to include storage and transport of luggage and any other items as needed. He/she will also direct the traffic in the Porte Cochere area, keeping the traffic lanes area from getting gridlocked.
- Be responsible for Bellperson duties and will cover the entrance area podium and serve as an ambassador of good will by pleasantly welcoming all of our guests, providing information, summoning taxi or other transportation as needed, and keeping the immediate area clean of all trash and debris.
- Will also maintain the cleanliness of the shuttles and vans and assist the engineering team in periodic general maintenance of all transportation vehicles and report any major maintenance needs to engineering as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Previous shuttle bus driving and/or bell person experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- A valid driver’s license is required (at least 4 years driving with the license)
- Valid (CDL) Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have current and valid driver license. This includes any commercial driver license that is necessary to operate a commercial Company Vehicle as part of that team members job; and team members must have a driver license for at least four (4) years prior to being permitted to operate any Company Vehicle that involves transporting passengers (including guests, visitors or owners), or any commercial vehicle.
- Must meet company required motor vehicle policy standards
- Must have a good knowledge of the Las Vegas area and the attractions and activities that occur.
- Must have good verbal skills and ability to communicate with the guests and owners.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift luggage 50-75 lbs up 3 flights of stairs;
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs to a third floor while carrying guest’s luggage
- Must feel comfortable working outdoors in sometimes extreme temperatures
