Now hiring several full-time skilled Maintenance Technicians for apartment communities throughout St. Paul, MN and surrounding areas!
Apartment maintenance technicians are responsible for general maintenance at the apartment community. Will be responsible for make readies, turns and work orders. Excellent customer service experience required and must have at least 1 year apartment maintenance experience and a reliable means of transportation.
Successful candidates will work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Complete service requests in a timely fashion
- Turning vacant units
- Perform groundskeeping duties to maintain the appearance and safety of property grounds
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Possess strong experience in the following tasks:
- Plumbing - sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable)
- Electrical - replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge of proper safety protocol, rewiring when applicable
- Carpentry - patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch-up painting
- Appliances - help with the installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential maintenance - apartments, hotels, or private homes
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
