**Key Responsibilities: ** - Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall nursing services of the facility. - Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed. - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards. - Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve quality of care. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and comprehensive resident care. - Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff. - Monitor and manage nursing budgets, supplies, and resources effectively. - Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to resident care or staff performance. - Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure continuous improvement in nursing practices.
