Patient check-in and registration:
Welcoming patients, verifying insurance information, updating patient demographics, and collecting necessary paperwork. -
Appointment scheduling:
Managing appointment schedules, confirming appointments, and rescheduling as needed. -
Phone management:
Answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, taking messages, and scheduling appointments over the phone. -
Patient billing and payments:
Processing patient payments, collecting co-pays, and handling billing inquiries. -
Medical record maintenance:
Maintaining patient records electronically, updating patient information, and filing medical documents. -
Administrative tasks:
Maintaining office cleanliness, managing patient flow in the waiting area, and completing various administrative tasks as assigned. -
Insurance verification:
Checking patient insurance eligibility and verifying benefits. -
Patient communication:
Answering basic medical questions, providing directions, and communicating patient information to medical staff.
**Must be bilingual in Spanish**
