Day to Day Expectations/Responsibilities:
- responsible for performing concurrent, prospective and retrospective chart reviews
- Reviewing and validating medical records to ensure accuracy of HCC codes captured by the providers documentation
- Preform queries for coding and documentation clarification during prospective chart review process
- Identify and access coding opportunities
- Provider education sessions
- No hands on coding in this position
- Needs someone that is familiar with HCC guidelines and is familiar with Medicare

Requirements
- 3 years of coding/auditing experience
- 1 year of HCC experience with Medicare
