Career Strategy is seeking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer for a large manufacturing client near New Martinsville, WV. This is a full-time permanent position that offers a generous base salary, a lucrative benefits package and bonus incentive, and substantial opportunities for growth.
SUMMARY
Provides electrical, instrumentation, specification preparation and resolution of maintenance engineering problems. Coordinate with a multi-discipline team of engineers, supervisors, and craftsmen to successfully maintain and upgrade equipment in a chemical plant environment.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical, Instrumentation, Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering college or university.
- Knowledge and Application of all electrical distribution and instrumentation related standards, codes and regulations; working knowledge of DCS, PLC and SCADA / HMI control system software, hardware and architecture; working knowledge of databases; working knowledge of Instrument and Electrical software tools is desirable.
- Specific experience with the application of electrical distribution, instrumentation and control systems in an industrial setting.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be capable of interacting with other engineering disciplines, craftsmen and frontline supervisors.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in heavy industrial Electrical and I&C engineering design, checkout and commissioning.
- Hands-on field experience with electrical generation / distribution systems, instruments and control systems.
