What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Business Services Representative position at Career Systems?
The Business Services Representative is responsible for promoting the On-the-Job Training (OJT) program, recruiting candidates and promoting skills upgrades within the companies we work with, and monitoring OJT program participants to achieve employment retention. Must be able to reliably travel throughout Chautauqua County.
- Provides specialized career exploration and job search services with an emphasis on On-the-Job Training (OJT) program and employment retention
- Completes outreach to area employers to identify hiring needs, develops work sites, matches potential employees with OJT program employers, and acts as a liaison
- Works directly with jobseekers and Career Specialists to provide specialized job search services with an emphasis on OJT program
- Provides assessments, job coaching, and career planning for targeted population
- Attends job fairs and creates job orders related to employer hiring events
- Ability to travel throughout Chautauqua County as well as between Jamestown and Dunkirk Chautauqua Works offices
- Performs all other duties as assigned
