Intermediate District 287 is looking for qualified Educational Support Professionals like you for our position at our Career & Tech Center in Eden Prairie, MN!
Intermediate District 287 is a west metro district for learners with unique needs. As an intermediate district, we provide specialized services, primarily setting IV special education, to students from 12 member districts in the west metro.
At the Career & Tech Center (CTC), District 287 serves member district high school students by offering career courses that are designed to help with career readiness, skill development, career awareness, and decision making through three programs focusing on technical job skills, alternative ed, college/post-secondary readiness, and independent living skills.
Position Details:
- Support multiple teachers
- Support students
- Support Building-wide
- Work with students to ensure they receive an excellent education
- Only work during school hours (no weekends or long shifts); 30-35 hours/week

Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive Pay: $20.65-$29.02 Depending on experience and education

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations.
- High school diploma or a general education development (GED) certificate
- Two (2) years of full-time employment or equivalent working with individuals in an environment that provides broad familiarity and understanding of the physical and emotional behaviors and challenges of children with exceptional needs
- Substitution Allowed: College training may be substituted for the General Experience.
