A leading manufacturer of industrial and automotive equipment are adding a Logistics Supervisor to their 3rd Shift operation.

This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations during the third shift, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and delivery of materials to production.

Logistics Supervisor Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement standard workflows and procedures for warehouse staff.

Assign tasks and allocate resources based on staffing and production requirements.

Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and address variances with effective solutions.

Communicate part issues and shortages to relevant departments and management.

Maintain 5S / 3D practices within the warehouse.

Lead and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Logistics Supervisor Skills and Experience :

2 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Familiarity with ERP systems, bar code scanning, and sending ASNs to automotive customers is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong math skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Capability to work cross-functionally and interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, coach, and train staff.

Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and recommend corrective actions.
