We are supporting a high growth leading manufacturer they an opening on their team for a Manufacturing Engineer. This role is located in Elkhart and is responsible for supporting production needs by programing and supporting fabrication equipment.
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities and qualifications include:
- Oversee weld processes and production support, specifically focused on MIG, TIG, Robotics.
- Improve welding process that impact overall product quality, while positively effecting quality and delivery issues.
- Be the technical go-to on all welding related issues.
- Advise on new welding technology including equipment and processes.
- Design, build, test, and implement production tooling where necessary
Manufacturing Engineer Skills & Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field desired, or equivalent qualification or a combination of job-related education.
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with metal fabrication, welding or CNC programming required.
