Tetra Tech INE is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer to support a wide range of high-profile public transportation and private development projects, including sustainable development. You will join our top-notch team of highway / traffic engineers and transportation planners in an engaging, flexible, and collaborative work environment. We are proud to be designing major projects within our region such as the I-90 / Allston Multimodal and the Rutherford Ave / Sullivan Square corridor in Boston.
Location : This is a hybrid position with in-office days taking place in our Marlborough, MA office. This office is easily accessible to major highways and near both I-495 and I-290.
Responsibilities :
- Collect and interpret field data in a variety of environments
- Prepare transportation studies, design reports, calculations, and analysis
- Develop traffic models and simulations
- Design traffic signals, timing charts, coordinated signal systems
- Design signing and pavement marking plans
- Design complex intersections, concept plans
- Prepare traffic management plans (TMP), including staging plans
