Schedule :
Full-time : 40 hours per week.
Primary Shift : Evening (2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM).
Secondary Shifts : 1 : 00 PM - 9 : 30 PM and 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM (as needed).
Weekend Needs : Every other weekend.
Responsibilities :
- Medication Preparation and Dispensing : Accurately prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Order Verification : Review and verify medication orders, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with established protocols.
- Patient Counseling : Provide medication counseling to patients, explaining dosage, side effects, and potential interactions.
- Inventory Management : Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling.
- Quality Assurance : Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing practices.
