What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Architect - SME (AI, Data) position at Careerbuilder-US?
Job Description : Requirements :
- Manage and maintain a central repository of information about all data products, ensuring accurate metadata, accessibility, and clear documentation (onboarding new data products into the catalog, including technical details, business context, lineage, and usage descriptions).
- Support initiatives to enhance the reusability and clarity of data by making it available in the data product catalogue.
- Partner with data stewards and LOBs to enrich catalogue entries with business data dictionaries, business rules, glossaries. Proficiency in data cataloging tools (e.g. Collibra)
- Collaborate closely with clients to deeply understand their business ecosystems and objectives, leveraging this knowledge to co-develop Data and AI strategies that align with their goals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex data programs, serving as a subject matter expert (SME) in Data and AI.
- Build strong relationships with client leaders across domains to identify their Data and AI challenges and effectively communicate these to platform stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the overarching vision and objectives.
- Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end, sustainable data solutions, with a focus on long-term impacts, and oversee program initiation for new product development.
- Develop and implement data governance strategies that address critical aspects such as security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Service Line members to analyze trends in Data and AI, engage with client stakeholders, and promote thought leadership by sharing insights and provoking meaningful discussions. Continuously review and unpack the client's Data and AI strategy and roadmap, proactively advising on strategies to ensure they remain ahead in leveraging emerging technologies and practices.
- Domain knowledge of life sciences / pharmaceuticals is desirable.
