Industrial Electro-Mechanical Service Technician
Perform a wide variety of electro-mechanical work and or supervise outside contractors in the installation and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment associated with customer products with minimum supervision.
Essential Elements
Read and interpret layouts and schematics.
Determine or diagnose unusual conditions : improper operation and / or faulty or defective material / equipment during installations or repair. Take necessary action to trouble shoot or repair.
Understanding of Servo Drives, DC Drives, AC Drives, Printing functions, Safety functions, Industrial control logic, Control power, etc..
Understanding of Mechanical Assembly Drawings and General repair techniques.
Communicate effectively in person, in writing and over the phone.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite of products.
Travel to customer sites to perform required duties.
Other Skills
Industrial Automation experience, PLC’s, MLC’s General Electrical and Mechanical Ability
Siemens, Bosch Rexroth Controls experience
Printing Experience – Digital Ink Jet and or Screen Printing preferred
Training and Installation experience
Other Duties
General Building Maintenance
Other Duties as directed
