**Job Overview**
The Department Head - Inventory Management will oversee the inventory control processes in our distribution centers, ensuring timely and accurate inventory replenishments to stores. This position requires excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills, with a focus on continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Inventory Control Center Manager in achieving departmental goals
- Conduct audits of production departments' procedures and physically inspect the DC to identify issues
- Support departments with IC-related concerns
- Develop new storage and IC processes and design pick or reserve areas within the DC
- Hire, train, and develop associates and Area Managers within the department
- Review quality reports for each production department and address concerns
- Communicate effectively with various Store Support Center departments and Store Managers
- Follow Company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Ability to walk the Distribution Center floor for extended periods
- Lifting or moving up to 60 lbs (frequent during cycle counts or physical inventories)
- Flexible work hours and shifts
- No more than 10% overnight travel
