Join our team to be a part of the exciting transformation as we migrate UMD computing systems to a modern cloud-based solution. The Software Engineer, Data Conversion will use various technologies to migrate data from legacy systems to the Workday platform as part of the Workday Student implementation. The position is hands-on, agile, team-based development.

The Software Engineer is responsible for :

  • Implementing solutions within a development team.
  • Following a formal development methodology and working within scheduled timelines.
  • Participating in peer code reviews, documentation, and formal testing.

Essential Duties :

  • Produce deliverables including working application software, prototypes, and unit tests.
  • Produce project and system documentation including specifications, technical requirements, test plans, and database schema diagrams.
  • Participate in planning sessions, code reviews, and professional development activities.

  • Salary Range : $100,000-$125,000
