Description :
Immediate need for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a minimum of eight years of experience in lighting, power distribution, wiring, security and communication system design and selection, creating plans, calculations, response to shop drawings, submittals, specifications. THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE - WFH / 50% IN-OFFICE!

- 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, working for MEP firms
- Proven experience in Lighting Design, Engineering, and specifications
- Proven experience designing wiring diagrams, risers, and fire alarms
- Must be able to design mid-size projects independently
- Having an EIT is a big plus!
- This role involves Project Management, so ability to run a job independently is important
- Experience with tenant fit-out
- Experience with new residential buildings
- Production-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Able to work well with architects and contractors
- MUST have working knowledge of NYC Building Codes
- AutoCAD and computer proficient; Revit MEP would be a plus
Education :
Engineering degree required. (BSEE from an accredited college or university)
