Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant for the Greeter/Screener Department at Hackettstown Medical Center. Required hours vary including weekends.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Greet and screen visitors appropriately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, and visitors.
- Coordinate flower and gift deliveries to patient rooms.
- Round on patient in waiting areas close to information desk.
- Takes inventory of supplies.
- May handle confidential information.
- Assures adherence to organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Relevant Experience:
- 1-2 years of customer service, healthcare or hospitality experience preferred.
- 1 year of clerical experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Specialized knowledge, skills and abilities may be required based on department/area assigned including one or more of the following: DX Imaging, Family Medicine, Foundation, Gift Shop, Growth House, Lab transcriptions, Pals House, Volunteer office or Women's Association preferred.
