Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant for the Greeter/Screener Department at Hackettstown Medical Center.  Required hours vary including weekends. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities: 

  • Greet and screen visitors appropriately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, and visitors.
  • Coordinate flower and gift deliveries to patient rooms.
  • Round on patient in waiting areas close to information desk.
  • Takes inventory of supplies. 
  • May handle confidential information.
  • Assures adherence to organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

  • To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Relevant Experience: 

  • 1-2 years of customer service, healthcare or hospitality experience preferred.
  • 1 year of clerical experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Specialized knowledge, skills and abilities may be required based on department/area assigned including one or more of the following: DX Imaging, Family Medicine, Foundation, Gift Shop, Growth House, Lab transcriptions, Pals House, Volunteer office or Women's Association preferred.
