What you will be working on]
We are looking for a Digital Content Strategist who has a knack for developing and integrating content, to drive the overall content strategy and design for MAS’ digital products and public platforms including our website, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Call Centre operations.
You will be part of the Corporate Communications Division that is responsible for communicating MAS’ policies to external stakeholders such as industry players, other regulators and central bankers and the general public through the mainstream media, events, online platforms such as the MAS website and social media, as well as our call centre.
The Digital Content Strategist will report to a team lead, and work together with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors, to develop engaging content across all our public platforms (i.e. website, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and call centre). The content will span across issues related to macroeconomy, financial sector regulation, as well as financial sector development.
Besides developing new content, the Digital Content Strategist will also conduct content audits, review metrics / feedback to identify gaps and opportunities, and leverage synergies across all of MAS’ public touchpoints.
Primary Responsibilities :
Work with internal subject matter experts to develop and manage a content plan for MAS’ website and social media channels (i.e. LinkedIn, X and YouTube)
Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to review MAS’ website and social media channels regularly to identify content gaps and opportunities
Work with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies and align content across all of MAS’ public touchpoints (e.g. for major announcements, to – propose website updates, draft social media posts, and align FAQs that can be published on MAS’ website or used by call centre).
Recommend different content formats (e.g. static visuals, videos, infographics) to improve the presentation of information as well as engagement rates across MAS’ website and social media channels
What we are looking for]
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Relevant experience in a writing, editing and proofreading skills, with an eye for details; experience in researching and writing about technical or specialised topics would be a bonus
Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to :
Write clear and consistent content according to style guide
Proof-read, restructure and edit content from line departments
Experience in developing help and support content
High computer literacy skills and aptitude to learn editing / content management software and perform related skills (such as tagging and linking); experience in XML editing a plus
Good understanding of web writing and usability (including Search Engine Optimisation)
Ability to work on multiple projects at a time while maintaining high attention to details
Independent and creative, and a team player at the same time
A passion for plain language and customer experience
Experience in the financial sector, or with UX design or design thinking skills, will be a bonus
