What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder (Night Shift) position at Careers @ Hendrickson?
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses hand-welding methods and robotic weld operations as part of the production process
- Accountable for performing quality control checks before and after welds
- Maintain company’s weld certification to include successful completion of 2G welding test
- Lift and carry sub-components to workstations
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MIG welding certification AWS D1.1 structural steel (2G) certification is preferred
- Must be willing to learn robotic welding, lift 68lbs, and read blueprints
- Proof of H.S. Diploma or GED necessary
- Physical, drug screen and background check required
