The role of Accounting Lead Analyst is to perform general accounting and reporting functions for the Client Global Health Benefits division. This role will support the analysis and processing of journal entries, reconciliations and settlements and will support the automation/improvement of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. The role is responsible for coordinating, conducting, and documenting financial reporting or analysis. The role will also participates in the complex financial analysis projects and/or reporting.

The role is responsible for coordinating, conducting, and documenting financial reporting or analysis. The role will also participates in the complex financial analysis projects and/or reporting.
Major duties:
- Responsible for accounting and financial analysis for transactions related to Middle East entities, including reserve adjustments, premium revenue recognition, intercompany, settlements, VAT, and other activity as needed.
- Responsible for monthly recording of various transactions related to reinsurance activities across different legal entities in accordance with treaty agreements.
- Assist in completion of Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly reporting and audit request.
Skills
- 3 years professional accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Insurance industry or public accounting experience a plus
- Exposure to working across multiple legal entities and in multiple currencies is a plus
- Familiarity with Oracle general ledger and Alteryx a plus
- Ability to influence and collaborate with business partners
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
