Job Title: Assistant Lab Technician
Location: High Point, NC 27265
Job Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job description:
• Perform daily verifications of instruments such as balances, pH meters, Viscometer as required by work instructions.
• Performs standardizations of volumetric/titrimetric solutions, and prepares dissolution media and HPLC mobile phase, buffers and among other solutions.
• Perform core techniques or methods as assigned for testing on raw materials, in-process, release, stability, or projects as assigned.
• Clean and prioritize all laboratory areas including bench, sinks, drawers, cabinets, solvent cabinets, fume hoods, refrigerators, freezers, desiccators, and storage areas.
• Clean laboratory pipettes and other glassware.
• Perform monthly inventory of reference standards and reagents.
• Maintain laboratory instruments disposing of wastes, cleaning them, and replacing consumable parts as required.
• Dispose of solvent, acids, and other wastes according to procedures and local regulations.
How will you get here?
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or Biochemistry or related field.
Experience:
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred
