Job Description:
Position Title: Communications Specialist
Duration: 1 Year Contract (Possibility of extension)
Location: Moline, IL 61265 (Hybrid)
Hybrid Work Schedule : 1 st Shift (Mon-Fr) 4 days Onsite/1 day Remote. Fully remote candidates are not eligible for this role.
Pay Range - $25/hr to $30.62

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our employee communications team in the role of Communications Specialist.
In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Communications Lead in the management, coordination, and execution of a multitude of communications projects.
You will help ensure the quality and consistency of our communications efforts, and provide limited creative support, inclusive of story/article writing and proofing.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communications project management, stakeholder engagement, this the main focus of this position. 60% of their time will be focused on communications project management.
• Writing; simple templated design support
• Quality assurance proofing, fact-checking; stakeholder approvals
• Supporting local photo and video shoots
• Organizing shared digital creative assets
• Coordinate metrics scorecard assembly
• Keep team SharePoint sites organized and updated
• Other duties as assigned

Skill Set Requirements:

• Great verbal and written communication skills required
• Project management and organizational experience and skills required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Marketing Communications or Communications experience preferred

Education:

• A degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business is required

Salary : $25 - $31
