The purpose of this position: Perform equipment maintenance, repair, and improvement in support of efficient manufacturing operations
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of production and service equipment and instrumentation
• Understand unique production equipment and their operational functions, including all servicing and preventative maintenance schedules
• Performs and maintains appropriate records of preventative maintenance for all equipment
• Coordinates and interacts with production personnel appropriately for all repair and preventative maintenance duties
• Interacts with production personnel appropriately for all repair necessities and preventative maintenance scheduling
• Schedules and conducts utilities and equipment support services preventative maintenance
• Keeps appropriate records and support documentation of equipment repair and parts change history
• Updates, changes, and maintains files of schematics, graphics, and text files of all equipment
Working Conditions:
• Exposure to electrical and mechanical systems
• Exposure to dust, dirt, equipment oil, grease, operating materials
Education:
• High School diploma and technical electronic maintenance / Trade Schooling
• EPA Certification preferred
• Mechanical maintenance in manufacturing
• Similar optics manufacturing equipment familiarity preferred
