Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, adaptable, a forward thinker, with a strong commitment to supporting our employees and enhancing our workplace culture.
Essential responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following :
- Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and managing HR database.
- Recruitment: Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
- Employee Relations: Provide support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, fostering a positive and approachable HR presence.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all HR activities. Attend safety and staff committee meetings and trainings.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, employee engagement activitie, and employee recognition.
Shift: Days, 40 hours/week
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) with strong Excel skills.
