Pay Range:- 80K to 97K.
Job Description:
- Seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise the maintenance and repair of our fulfilment centres as well as Supervise our growth and projects. You’ll be involved with strategic decisions on facilities, construction, and expansion-related activities and should have experience in this realm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timelines, set schedules, monitor progress
- Ensure we're maintaining an organized and relevant critical parts inventory system
- Oversee a staff of employees to ensure timely maintenance and repair activities
- Conduct regular inspections of plant to seek out potential problems with timely resolution
- Maintain positive vendor relationships; establish new contacts to benefit Client
- Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, audit, safety, and environmental issues
Qualifications:
- Skills and Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Project Management including MS Project, or equivalent project management software proficiency
- Understanding of local, state, and federal codes, permitting, and regulatory compliance
- Effective communication style the allows for cross-functional teamwork and a get-it-done attitude
- Assertive management style; holds team and vendors accountable to deadlines and performance.
- Experience managing multi-million dollar construction projects
Experience / Education
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent years of experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing (preferably food) environment and knowledge of utilities, facilities or production equipment maintenance
Skills and Requirements:
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints
- Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
- Ability to accurately assess mechanical and electrical problems, make recommendations, communicate effectively and resolve issues quickly
- Must be able to walk, bend, stand and reach for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 49 lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Must be able to take direction as well as ownership of given tasks
