Job Title: Manufacturing Production Associate (Entry Level)
Job Location: Waltham, MA
Job Duration: 6 months (Possibilities of Extension)
Work Shift: Monday to Friday - Day shift - Preferred hours: 9 am to 5 pm (there may be some flexibility options)
Pay Range: $17.90 /hr. on W2
Job Description Summary:
The IVD Manufacturing Team works closely with other teams across the business to deliver high quality products. Relevant skills include an understanding of the biological sciences, an eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
• Bulk preparation of kit components, ability to read and understand batch production guides for intermediates and finished goods
• Effectively use various laboratory equipment such as Biological Safety Cabinets, pipettes, incubators, balances, pH meters, centrifuges, etc.
• Preparing and maintaining proper documentations
• Maintain line clearance and clean work environment according to 5S
• Use ERP system to complete work orders
• Support any process development and, optimization of products
• Assist with and troubleshooting manufacturing processing
• Ensure compliance with Quality policies, SOPs and Health and Safety procedures
• Physical inventory of raw and finished good materials
Qualifications/Experience:
• You will have a BS in life sciences or 2 years of experience in biomanufacturing, preferably
• You have a general knowledge of basic lab techniques and are proficient in MS Office applications.
• You will be an enthusiastic team-player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently when required.
• You have excellent organization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• You have strong work ethic and excellent time management skills
• Must be able to lift 15 lbs
