Job Title : Mechanical Engineer
Location : Albany, GA, 31705
Job Duration : 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift : Mon – Fri (8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM)
Must Have :
10 years lubrication experience Ability to identify defects AND fix those defects with regards to lubrication systems papermaking lube system mastery papermaking operations knowledge Client systems prior knowledge (IWS specifically PM systems) prior Albany site knowledge a plus
Job Responsibility :
Experienced maintenance planner or other relative experience to :
Assist with doing all the initial IQ / OQ checks to ensure that equipment is installed as required and all devices are installed in the proper orientation, Assist with checking all mechanical aspects of the equipment (Alignment, torque tests, guards in place, free moving parts), Assist with developing and documenting centerlines, Assist with developing AM / PM Plans and documentation (Maintenance Plans).
Assist with developing CIL's, Assist with developing re-build instructions for equipment, Full understanding of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) requirements and working around energized equipment, Understanding of production, packaging, and conveying systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and / or engineering degree / experience.
