Job Title : Medical Assistant
Job Location : Phoenix 85016 / Gilbert 85295, AZ
Job Duration : 3 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift : Monday through Friday 8 : 00AM- 5 : 00PM or 7 : 00AM- 4 : 00PM
Job Description :
- Monitor and record patient vitals, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist in the care of patients with a variety of medical conditions, under the guidance of clinicians.
- Work closely with clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Participate in patient assessment and contribute to creating positive health outcomes by following prescribed care plans.
- Assist in performing and supporting additional clinical tasks such as : non-blood specimen collection, Electrocardiograms (EKGs / ECGs), Ear lavages, Vaccinations and PPD tests, Swab collections (e.g., for cultures or tests), Point of care testing (e.g., glucose, urine analysis)
- Provide assistance with medical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times. Respond to patient needs promptly and communicate any concerns or changes in patient condition to the medical team.
- Foster a collaborative environment by working effectively with other healthcare professionals, sharing relevant patient information, and maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with patients and team members.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of all patient interactions, procedures, and assessments.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
