Job Title: Phlebotomist II     
Job Location: Rock Island, IL- 61201
Duration: 3 months of Contract with possible extension
Shift time: Mon – Fri (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) with 1 hr lunch CST

Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company for patients seeking healthcare services, either for routine care or critical health decisions.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• The PSR II draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• The PSR II has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe, and accurate manner.
• The PSR II will demonstrate Leadership Behaviours while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service centre or as business needs dictate.
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

 
Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

 
Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
