Job Title: Weld Field Engineer/Foreman
Top Required Skills
1) At least 3 years of relevant nuclear welding experience as defined per Section 7.0 of ANSI B5.16. Experiences includes welding, weld planning, preparing weld data records, preparing weld repair dispositions, reviewing weld procedures, and ASME XI Repair Replacement activities involving welding.
2) Practical experience is required on joining, PWHT, welding metallurgy, and mechanical properties for carbon steels, low alloy steels, austenitic and martensitic stainless steels, Cu based alloys, and Ni based alloys.
3) Knowledge of the ASME (e.g. Section II, III, VIII, XI, etc.) and AWS (D1.1, D1.6, etc.) Codes is required.

o Experience and knowledge of various codes and standards such as ANSI, ASTM, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.7
o CWI Certification (desirable, not required)
High Level Project Overview:
o Day-to-day duties would be to the weld engineer of subsequent licensing renewal for Millstone Power Station supporting the projects of the Main Condenser Replacement, Feedwater Heaters and Piping Replacements, Reactor Coolant Pump Refurbishments, Main Circulating Water Pumps Refurbishments, Polar Crane Replacements, Fuel Handling Equipment Crane Replacements, and other projects supporting the extension to year 80 of the plants.
o Duties include but not limited to review of design changes, review of specifications, review of SNCRs, visit to manufacturing facilities, review of manufacturing drawings, review of manufacturing weld documents, review work orders, review vendor implantation organizations weld programs, support of field implementation activities, interacting with vendor surveillance and purchaser quality representatives, providing oversight of manufacturers, and providing oversight of vendors implementation field activities.
Preferred Years of Experience:
o A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Education:
o Minimum of High School Diploma
