What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician - 3rd shift position at Careers Integrated Resources Inc?
Primary Responsibilities
Execute the Quality measures control plan
Calibrate all quality measurement instruments
Update trending reports for distribution for analysis of coatings
Perform dry film thickness readings on E-coated units
Perform profilometer readings on Body In White units
Perform profilometer readings on E-Coated body
Obtain Color and Structure readings on coated bodies
Complete daily activity readings log for all BIW (Body In White), E-Coated, painted bodies and any special readings
Report any and all concerns or issues pertaining to quality to the VW process team
Perform special request as needed
Assist Volkswagen and paint suppliers with trials as requested
Ability to adapt to flexible shifts (day & afternoon shifts), work schedules (weekends), required overtime and job duties.
Quals--
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
3rd shift hours 10 pm - 6:30 am.
There is a 30 minute unpaid lunch for each shift, as well as 2-15 minutes paid breaks.
