Job Description:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct assessments, identify changes in patient conditions, and report findings to physicians and other healthcare team members
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health systems.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on post-operative care, medication management, and health maintenance to promote recovery and prevent complications.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalent experience is required.
- 2 years of experience in a hospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalent experience is preferred.
Education:
- Associates in Nursing required
- Bachelors in Nursing preferred
Certifications and Licenses:
- BLS (AHA) required.
- WI RN License or Compact State License
