Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician (Local / Travel)
Location : Menomonee Falls, WI & West Bend, WI
Duration : 3 Months / 13 weeks (Possibilities of Extension or temp. to hire)
Shift : PM shift plus call 13-22 : 30 approximately with on-call and weekend responsibilities at West Bend, WI and PM Shifts without call at Menomonee Falls, WI
Job Description :
- Performs routine tasks relating to the decontamination processing sterilization and distribution of instruments equipment and sterile supplies.
- Responsible for general operating and monitoring of cleaning / sterilization equipment.
- Maintains records in compliance with AAMI AORN Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and write is necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs, and complete required documentation.
- Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Problem-solving and good communication skills.
