Position Title: Supply Management Specialist
Location : Urbandale , IA 50322
Duration : 18 months
Job Description:
This team is currently operating on a hybrid schedule 4 days in the office, 1 day remote. Fully remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process to ensure design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and influence continuous improvement in current production parts.

Develop and maintain supplier relationships to monitor and improve supplier performance, including measuring performance and defining corrective actions.

Drive supply chain deliverables for engineering product development programs.

Lead and support continuity of supply by driving continuous improvement, addressing critical resourcing needs, and mitigating risks.

Negotiate supply agreements (e.g., Last Time Buy) to ensure the company meets goals for cost, quality, and continuity of supply.
Required Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of Supply Management processes and principles, particularly in sourcing, contracting, and negotiations.

Prior experience in the manufacturing environment or the ability to quickly learn new processes.

Interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution; comfortable with professional communication.

Experience in specific areas of Supply Management / Procurement such as strategic sourcing, supplier integration, supplier development, cost reduction, scheduling, and module supply management.

Ability to manage competing priorities, multitask, and resolve complex problems.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:

Supply Chain experience.

SAP experience.

Experience in the Electronics Industry.

Experience working with global teams or on global products.

Degree in Supply Management, Business/Management, or equivalent.
