One position: 8:00 - 16:30 M-F
One position: 7:30 - 16:00 M-F
must live 100 miles away
High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
BS or MS in Healthcare preferred.
Minimum Five (5) years of experience as a Mammography Technologist required.
Two (2) years of experience as a Mammography Lead preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(M) license required.
Under the direction of the Mammography Supervisor or Manager, the Mammography Technologist provides diagnostic mammography services. Ability to demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines is of vital importance. Maintaining equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition is expected. Performs examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner so as to favorably promote the services offered at the facility.
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission andAmerican College of Radiology (ACR).
Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff , as well as ability to interact well with thepublic.
Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
