Performs analyses in hematology, chemistry urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology according to expected performance standards. Performs analyses in hematology, chemistry urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology according to expected performance standards. Performs venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick on identified patients by physician's request in a timely, accurate and caring manner. Keeps documented records current regarding maintenance and quality control. Meets the lab service goals as scheduled or report problems to lab director. Promotes adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues. Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Facility Requirements:
A minimum of a HS diploma and either: graduated from a MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by ABHES, CAHEA other organization approved by HHS
Must have ASCP certification, must be attached to the submission
Must have BLS certification must be attached to submission packet (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted
Must have Blood Bank / Transfusion Services experience
