Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler

Work includes a variety of physical and biological conditions including, but not limited to, proximity to moving mechanical parts and powered industrial trucks, exposure to hot work or steam, working at heights, working with sharp tools and exposure to slip hazards and wet areas.

Key Activities and responsibilities:
- Generate, print and apply labels to raw materials
- Assist warehouse with necessary transport and staging of materials
- Loading and unloading trucks as required
- Package small material runs such as DPR10, samples, etc. as required.
- Pour samples as required, using appropriate ppe.
- Assist in troubleshooting small batch packaging issues as required
- Responsible for assisting SAP/Inventory specialist with cycle counts
- Required to become high-rise certified to pick orders for shipment.
- In the event of a plant emergency, participate in the emergency response as directed
- As time allows, assist in other operations in the plant as directed
Context and environment
- Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
- Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)
- Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
- Manufacturing environment with chemical, physical, ergonomic and electrical hazards.

- Work is primarily performed in the manufacturing complex; however, worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
- Worker is subject to atmospheric conditions, including, but not limited to, exposure to dust, chemicals, and odors.
- Works with or around hazardous substances.
- Work requires use of protective clothing and equipment.
- Scheduled hours may vary in shifts and length.
- Noise level in the work environment is below the OSHA permissible exposure limits.
- Actively participate in plant Behavior Based Safety program.
- Report any HES incidents and, as appropriate, participate in incident investigations.
- In the event of a plant emergency, participate in the emergency response as directed, and be a member of the ERT.
Required Education/Qualifications /Work experience
- Minimum high school graduate
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred
- Fork truck and high rise experience preferred
- 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
