Position Purpose: This position will provide continuity of program services for children and adolescents in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of addictions and mental health treatment services to patients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- Masters Degree required, full Wisconsin clinical license preferred (LPC, LCSW, MFT)
- Able to facilitate individual and group patient sessions with limited clinical supervision
- Timely, clinically appropriate documentation completion
- Caseload management including intakes, TX planning, clinical review, discharge, collateral communication, scheduling
- Ability to consistently achieve client engagement to retain
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Establishes a helping relationship with the client and family characterized by warmth, respect, genuineness, concreteness, and empathy. Manages crisis situations and determines need for additional professional assistance.
- Engages clients such that client return and retention meets established norms
- Creates clinically appropriate treatment plans with measurable short term and long term goals, identified methods to measure and evaluate progress.
- Applies ASAM and DSM-V criteria appropriately.
- Utilizes comprehensive assessment process
- Documents findings and treatment recommendations appropriately.
- Collaborates with collateral internal and external contacts throughout treatment process.
- Documents client behavior and coordinates with others regarding group behavior.
- Facilitates engagement of families, couples, and significant others in the treatment and recovery process.
- Quality and timeliness of all clinical and case management documentation.
Schedule: Full time - 40 hours
- Monday through Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Evening hours required for 2 shifts/week (12pm - 8:30pm)
