Position Purpose:
The Crisis Co Responder Team is recovery and resiliency oriented, intensive, community based rehabilitation and outreach. It is team based and consists of mental health rehabilitation interventions and supports necessary to assist the recipient in achieving and maintaining rehabilitative, resiliency and recovery goals. Interventions are provided in natural settings, and are delivered face to face, by telephone, or by video conference with individual recipients and their family/significant others to the primary well- being and benefit of the recipient. This is an excellent position for social service driven applicants seeking to work with area police agencies.
Qualifications:
- Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling, case management and motivational interviews
- Proven crisis intervention and debriefing skills
- Ability to coordinate and present lectures for patients, parents and community resources

Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct Mental and Risk Assessments on crisis clients both in the community and at the location.
- Ability to motivate and problem solve with staff regarding effective clinical practices
- Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients
- Conduct individual, and/or family counselling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members
- Ensure that client services records are maintained consistent with standards, rules and regulations.
- Maintain communications with all staff (e.g. admissions, process, and discharge plans)
- Ability to coordinate services from a variety of community resources and Rosecrance services
- Ability to engage with law enforcement in a multitude of settings for daily staffing and follow up calls
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
- Valid driver’s license
Schedule: 8 hour shifts
- Day shift, 9:30am-6pm
- Monday-Friday
Work Location: Rosecrance Walnut– Champaign, IL
Compensation & Rewards
- Base Pay: Starting at $43,908.80 year (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
