This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.
Summary
The Sales & Service Representative will report to ECU’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development and will assist in all matters related to ECU’s sales operation. This candidate should possess a background in Self-Funded business – and have some knowledge on Medical Stop Loss as a whole. This candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage clients and grow and maintain a block of business. The Sales & Service Representative will work directly with ECU’s Sales and Underwriting Team – and should be comfortable interacting with clients, ECU staff and anyone of the likes. This candidate should have some experience in account management, account coordination, and/or sales assistant, as this role will have a direct line of advancement into becoming a full time Sales Representative within ECU.
Daily Responsibilities
- Sales and Relationship Management
- Develop and manage relationships with agents, consultants and TPA’s to continuously drive lead generation
- Collaboration with ECU’s Sales & Underwriting team at an individual group level and broad overview of clients and prospective clients
- Consistent lead generation
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to successful closure – to then renewal management in the subsequent years.
- Evaluation of new vendors and partners to work with
- Collaboration on Marketing materials
- Collaborate with all internal teams to continuously drive growth & innovation
- Travel should be expected
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience
- 2 Years of Industry Experience and Knowledge on Medical Stop Loss
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong business development and relationship management skills

The base salary range for this position is $39,000 – $72,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
